Material makers are not necessarily luxury seats and expensive but with makeshift materials, even recycled materials can create a comfortable chair and not less beautiful and cool. This is called Reclaimed Seat belts. The chair is made of steel truss and the seat belt which he collected from a local junkyard. His design combines three of the five principles of Japanese design: humor, expertise, compactness, asymmetry and simplicity. Seats are handmade in New York and, because of its nature, each seat one-of-a-kind. This is a school project a student at the University of Cincinnati, Adam Barron. This is one of the best designs I’ve ever seen made from reclaimed auto parts. I like things that give new life to old parts.
